Sheffield Bioinformatics Core

Supported by the Faculty of Health.

The Sheffield Bioinformatics Core provides a range of services to support researchers in the analysis, visualization and interpretation of 'omics and other high-throughput biological datasets. We also have a range of data science and Bioinformatics training workshops facilitated by experienced and accredited instructors. In order to make the most of our services, please contact us at the experimental planning stage of your project. We primarily work with researchers and staff from The University of Sheffield, but are open to external or industrial collaborators.

Bioinformatics Clinics / Consultation

Requests for a free 30 minute Bioinformatics consultation can be made via the Research Software Engineering (RSE) code clinic system. This is monitored by Bioinformatics Core staff, so we will ensure the appropriate expertise (which may involve individuals from multiple teams) will be available to help you
